BAYSIDE WESTHAVEN GUIDELINES FOR PARTICIPATION

Bayside Westhaven Baseball Club sets out the following guidelines for participating in any club activities:

Under Auckland Baseball Association COVID-19 Red Level guidelines, all players, coaches & volunteers must have a validated My Vaccine Pass in order to participate in club training, games and gatherings. You My Vaccine Pass (MVP) must be sighted and validated by an official Bayside Committee representative, to qualify.

All Players attending Games or Trainings are to ensure they:

  • have not displayed any flu-like symptoms in the past 14 days;

  • have not received a positive COVID-19 test result in the past 14 days;

  • have not been in contact with any persons with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 in the past 14 days;

  • are taking all measures to ensure that they social distance and practice minimum hygiene requirements.

If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19, please visit https://covid19.govt.nz/health-and-wellbeing/

PLEASE NOTE:

We will confirm if eligible participants (aged 12+) will be required to provide proof of vaccination to Bayside Westhaven Baseball Club in order to participate in the sport, and any club activities asap.  This guidance will be taken from Baseball NZ / Sport NZ / Auckland Baseball Assoc.
